Ernie has been teaching prodcuction design at the American Film Institute 1999. Since 2010, Ernie has been teaching design drawing and storyboarding in the Dodge Film School at Chapman University in Orange, CA. He has taught art related classes at Woodbury University, Art Center and Associates in Art.

 

 

From 2006 to 2009 Ernie taught regular 10 week courses sponsored by the Fine Artists Factory. He has conducted demonstrations and 

3 day oil painting workshops for local art clubs and has been an invited participant in Saturday in the Park with the Masters a live painting event sponsored by the Mid Valley Arts League.

 

Ernie has also served as juror for several painting competitions and was active in producing exhibitions for the Associate members of the California Club.
