California Art Club

CAC promotes academic traditions and craftsmanship in representational painting, drawing and sculpture through exhibits and educational opportunities in the fine arts. Ernie serves on the Advisory Board, the Membership Committee and is Chair of the Associate Artists Committee. For the last several years, Ernie has been responsible for the CAC juried exhibitions of art by Associate Artists at the historic Blinn House. Inner City Arts
Inner City Arts offers at risk children the opportunity to experience the power of creativity. Ernie's wife Silvia serves on the Board of Directors. Ernie has donated art to Innner City Art's annual fundraiser.



Los Angeles County Museum of Art


LACMA is the largest museum of art in the United States and shares its vast collecgton through exhibitions, public programs and research facilities that attract nealy a million visitors anually. Ernie is a member of the American Arts Council.



Operation School Bell

Operation School Bell provides new clothing, shoes and personal grooming products to children from families with extreme need. Ernie's wife Silvia has been a member for over 10 years and has served as President for two terms. Ernie has donated art to OSB's annual fundraiser.


TAG Gallery

Ernie's original artwork is represented by TAG Gallery, 2903 Santa Monica Boulevard, Santa Monica, CA. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday 9 to 5pm. Contact Gallery Director Alicia Johnson at (310) 829 9556 for more information.


The American Film Institute
Founded in 1967, AFI is a national arts organization to train filmmakers and preserve America's vanishing film heritage. Ernie has been an adjunct professor in the AFI Conservatory's Graduate program since 1999. This site is a gallery of orignial artwork by Ernie's Production Design students.




Windsor Square-Hancock Park Historical Society


WS-HPHS preserves the history of the greater Rancho La Brea area through events, publications and community outreach. Ernie serves as 2nd Vice President for special events and helps with their annual Home Tour and Garden Tour.
